What is a Sigil
The word sigil comes from the Latin sigillum, meaning “seal” or “sign”. From the Babylonians and Egyptians to the esoteric traditions of the Middle Ages, sigils were sacred symbols — vessels of energy, ways to encode intention and speak directly to the unseen.
We live in a time when many of these ancestral tools are re-emerging — not as relics of the past, but as bridges to the inner world.
Today, a sigil is still what it always was: a personal symbol infused with focused intention. It is a silent language between the conscious and the subconscious. A geometric whisper of purpose. A mirror of the soul, drawn by your own hand.

The Creative Process

We begin by writing a clear intention — a phrase that expresses something you wish to embody, become, or bring into your life.
Then, through a ritual process, we break this phrase down by removing vowels and repeated consonants — until we are left with the raw letters of the intention.
From these, we begin to draw: abstracting, shaping, relaxing the mind, letting creativity guide the form. When the shape feels complete, we paint it on handmade paper created from recycled materials and natural elements — using beeswax pigments, earth tones, and intuitive color.
Your sigil is now born: a tangible trace of your inner vision, pressed into matter.

This can be done through fire, transforming it into ether, or through water, returning it to the earth. This act closes a cycle — and opens a new one.

Where and How Can It Take Place
The Sigil Workshop can be offered in many settings:
- At the start of a retreat, to plant a clear and personal intention.
- At the end of a retreat, as a sealing ritual that crystallizes transformation.
- In individual sessions, for deep personal clarity.
- In wedding ceremonies, to create a shared sigil between partners.
- In yoga or healing circles, rites of passage, or spiritual groups.
- In custom contexts for teenagers, children, or groups exploring symbolic language.
The workshop can also be adapted with custom paper sizes and colors, if desired, for private sessions.

No preparation is required.
All materials are provided — handmade paper, natural pigments, and beeswax-based colors. Just bring yourself, your presence, and an open heart.
The session typically lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the size of the group. It includes a gentle introduction, guided writing of the intention, the sigil creation process, and the final artwork on handmade paper.

Your intention remains fully personal and private — that’s part of the magic. You write it, encode it, and carry it with you.

Yes.
We only use natural, non-toxic, and gentle materials (earth-based pigments, beeswax, herbal infusions). However, if you have known sensitivities to natural ingredients (like beeswax or certain herbs), feel free to inform me in advance.
Yes — but only for private sessions.
For retreats and group ceremonies, the format and paper sizes are set in advance due to the handmade nature of the materials.
Custom-made sessions are available for individuals, couples, or families who wish to:
- Create sigils in specific paper sizes or shapes (square, vertical, long format).
- Choose colors that reflect their home space or personal vision.
- Integrate natural elements from a specific garden or land.
- Co-create an intentional ritual in a meaningful location.
These require advance planning, as the handmade paper takes several days to prepare, and framing must be adjusted accordingly.
If the workshop takes place in another country or location where I prepare the materials on-site, I will need to arrive at least 5 days in advance, depending on the number of participants and the paper work involved. This allows time to source local ingredients and create the handmade paper ritualistically.

- Retreats & group events: A set price per participant, based on group size, country, and production details.
- Private sessions (custom-made): Tailored pricing depending on your vision, materials, and location.
